Dr. Stephanie Shaw is a Technical Executive and Program Manager at EPRI (previously the Electric Power Research Institute). She develops strategic research directions, provides technical insight and manages a portfolio of work on the environmental impacts of energy storage and renewable generation, deep decarbonization strategies and emerging energy technologies. These topics cover air, water, and health impacts; life cycle assessment; and sustainability aspects. Dr. Shaw also leads the Circular Economy for Energy Technologies Interest Group, which facilitates recycles, reuse and circular economy principles for solar photovoltaics, wind turbine blades, battery energy storage and other technologies. Dr. Shaw received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, and a Doctorate in atmospheric chemistry, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
